Removing climate controls?

Anyone know what is involved with removing the Climate controls on the 1st gen CL. I’ve taken the center consol apart before to install a stereo, but do you have to mess with the dash to get to the climate cluster? Any write ups would be great!!!

http://home.comcast.net/~daklepto/diymisc1.htm
just follow those instructions and the climate control will pop right off. Id paint or wrap your wood grain while youre at it. Might as well

Sorry this is brought back from the dead, but Klepto do you still have that? I was wondering how to take the climate control wood grain off.

Thats how I brought this thread up, I must not have been using the right words.

A search is only as good as the keywords you search for.
