well this is how the story goes last nite i my mom asked me to move my car because i was parked behind her and she had to leave. so i got in my car and backed out of the drive way i turned left to get out of her way which apparently wasnt enough. i was looking backwards the whole time and when i looked forwards all i saw was her taillights and then smack she backs rite into my driver side door. not cool so now i have a pretty decent dent in the door and a cracked mirror but the big problem is she bent the cowling so now my door drops when i open it and doesnt close properly i went and got an estimate today from a friend who owns an autobody shop and he said $1940 so unfortunately we have to go through insurance sh*t happens rite ill have pics up soon for you guys

They're dropping like flies. Mine hasn't been in much danger reccently cept for my buddy backing into my bumper with his exhaust pipes, but I did have to pull my CL out of a lake of sewage in my garage yesterday

 

Body shops and mechanics try to rape you most of the time, especially if you seem like you don't know anything about cars.

For example, after I ummm damaged my car a few months ago I brought it to the local mechanic to look for any bent or otherwise damaged suspension parts on the lift because my steering got knocked a little off center. The owner came out and tried to get me to pay $900 to replace my rear shocks, he made up some BS story about how it was making the car sag and messing up my steering geometry and some other random shit that made no sense. The car was stock then and my stock shocks were almost new btw.

My CL has had a pretty good month, so I cant really be "there" with ya man.. just geter fixed and be happy again.

 

thats why i got my dad to fix my car for me! hes a mechanic

2nd cat went bad. Been replaced less than 4 months ago? gay~! CEL light is on (yet again) & then goes off when it feels like it.

brake floater won't go down - so the e brake light is always on :|

meh, it been an ok yr, i got tons of warrenty work done for free, i just got a new egr plus they cleaned my IAC along with it today.........but i found out about my odometer being rolled back

 

 

yea 2k for an entire new door, rocker panel, mirror and paint does sound like alot but i aint payin it and i kno the guy isnt "raping" me im srry to hear about everyone else's problems it really sucks

 

ive had my share of unfortunate events.... dont know if anyone has seen my thread about my car accident... i was hatin it!

 

U have NO idea, i live in a split duplex and it was all my neighbors shit from like a week that backed up, it was NASTY

Yup, my car is in the shop right now from getting in an accident. I think we as drivers are getting cocky because our CLs are HOT. hehee
