re-adhering emblem

I was waxing my car today and my acura emblem came off. I would like to re-adhere it but i dont know what would give the best results under weathering and any other elements. What did you guys use when adhering any new emblems for your cars? If you guys could give me a tip or two id greatly appreciate it.

3M makes a two sided emblem tape.

Got mine at Autozone.

Tape is better than glue? it looks like they used some sort of glue or adhesive...

dont use glue...3m double sided tape.

always go to acura to get a new one, it's like 20 bucks, but easy to put on and looks good, not like it was homemade

i used 3M emblem tape, covered the back then carefully cut away the extra with an exacto knife. I looks better than stock, and no punks will be able to rip it off with out a struggle.
