Ratteling Noise
I drive a 97 2.2 cl
Can anyone tell me what the ratteling noise is comming from around the drivers side dash somewhere. Any ideas of how to make it stop?

heh. i knwo what ur talkin about. next time u got a passenger have them push on the tweeter in the dash and u try yours. my car does that all the time. im too lazy to fix it until i put a system in so for now i live with it. its my right front tweeter in the dash that does it. i though it was th eairbag coverthing but its not.

Nope the noise is comming from somewhere around the instrument cluster i believe.

Rattles Rattles Rattles! I have a 3.0 and have several rattles from that area - one comes from the far left ventilation vent in the dashboard and one comes from directly above the instrument cluster at the base of the windsheild.
There are some very special rattles that only come when the sunroof is all the way open - more squeaking really than rattles.
Some of these are pretty frustrating and I would not expect a dealer to spend the time fix them let alone find them - so I don't even ask.
I am going to try to live with them...we'll see.

Well im really pickey about my vehicles and im not asking a dealer to fix it. Ill be more than happy to do it my self if i could find it

I have a 3.0 and the only thing that rattles in my car is the rear deck, but that is because of my 2 10" SoloBaric L7's. 
But if you turn the music up load enough you cant hear a damn thing.
