Radio Broken (Know one Home)
Been a while since I've talk to you fellas missed this place, my fault start of college, woman, and drinking.
Ok, here's the deal. I hopped in my car to head home from college. I turn the car on and the radio and CD player don't work at all. The only thing that works is the blinking red anti-theft light. I've look at all the fuses and plan on opening up the plastic beast tomorrow to look at the radio.
Just wondering what possible problems this could include:
Thanks guys, good to be back.

Also try removing the terminal on the battery for 30 seconds and clear your radio, and see if it comes back or not

There is no display for a possible code input.
And I removed the terminal and nothing happened, so those solutions were tried and failed. Take apart the plastic beast now, this topic has gone through many fuse answers and battery answers. Are there any other problems it could be?

HA HA HA I forgot to laugh..
So the lighter works but no radio, I just pulled out the radio and to my surprise its a salvage radio from a 1998 CL, with a little paper taped to the top telling all about its whereabouts. Gonna check for some CL radios around town. Wish me luck!

it just sounds like the head units shot then, which you seem to have figured out. id personally recommend the pioneer deh-p6000ub. they make good quality shit and its got everything you could need for a good price.. bluetooth, ipod/mp3 control, front, rear, sub outputs. you can get it hella cheap now on crutchfield.. 150$ including a wireharness and dashkit..

Settled with a Kenwood KDC-MP142. Got it from Crutchfield, we'll see how long it last, cousin's going to install it for free. He worked on electronics in a Custom shop here in Hutchinson installing car audio. Right now there's a whole in my dash and all I hear down the road is my engine and muffler so it's not to bad Got pics of the outside because I figured, Hey! no radio why not detail the whole car. Thar she blows! \/
