Quicker rack & pinion available?

I love my '97 3.0 CL but we all like to my our cars the best they can be. I've done springs and shocks, sway bars and rims are next but what really bugs me is how slow the steering ratio seems to be. Anybody else agree? Is there another rack & pinion that any body knows of will bolt in and would give me quicker steering? Thanks!!!

I would LOVE quicker steering. Something that was like variably sensitive so that like 30 degrees off center either way isn't that much, for driving highways and local roads and stuff, but didn't require like 1.5 turns to reach a lock. 1 turn is enough, hell, even .75 turns is enough.

Holy old thread, thank you for searching.

There is no adjustable steering for our cars, lower the stance of your car, put front and rear sway bars on, switch all your bushings to polyurethayne, and upper and lower strut braces, that's what I did and it tightened my turning significantly

I would also like to agree with this statement.

This was a statement worth making.
