225/35/18 is the safest way to go without rubbing, If your car is super slammed. I have 225/40 roads are shitty around here.

w/ a 35 series, its possible to bend on anything, i had 19s, and bent one just barely bumping a pot hole at 20 mph, its was a deep one though

I just bent the shit out of one of my rims and I've got 225/40. I just sent the rim off for repair and hopefully it'll be fixed. About $200 for repair and a new Yokohama ES100 (its pro rated).

Got 225/40 on the 18's... I went over one of those median center things in the middle of a boulevard... my rims were fine suprisingly I was shocked. I rub slightly with over a 3 inch drop.

Could depend on the offset of the rims too.

what offset do you have on the rims??? perhaps your shocks are blown too... you should get some koni yellows and put the setting on firm and you shouldn't rub except on extreme bumps

+42 off set and brand new agx set on firm, i can't figure it out either. my car was just as low with crappy coilovers and stock shocks and didn't rub so i'm way confused. i think the springs are too soft.

Are you sure thats the correct offset for our cars? Mines are +45mm!

I like the color of your car man. Try and get some pics up when its on the ground again and with the new motor in. Looks like an awsome ride.
