Quick questions about lowering my CL.

I have a 97 3.0........My question is what's the big difference between springs and coilovers??? And which one should I get If I intend on lowering it about 1-1.5 inches? Which springs or coilover fit the 3.0 CL.. 97 or 98 accords? good price range? Thanks in advance everyone! peace!

Difference... one you can adjust and one you can't. Also coilovers are stiff as shit, and springs vary depending on the manufacturer and specification (race / sport).

I go with Eibach's Pro Kit. It will drop the car about 1.3 or 1.4. I have them on my 99 3.0 with Tokico shocks and I love the ride.

Coil-overs, which I have, are great for northern climates, where we have to deal with snow! In the winter, raise the car back up and throw the stock wheels back on... car still looks good, and will actually go somewhere in the snow. On the other hand, springs are just that, you put them in, and your ride height is fixed. I have found the ride to be a little better with springs, but be careful with both, go too low and you'll be on your bump-stops... very harsh! If you go with coil-overs, give the Ground-Control's a shot, thats what I have... they have a cool single collar design with Eibach springs on them. The springs from the '97 accords fit... I am not sure about the '98's. Good luck to ya!

I've got H&R Springs and KYB AGX struts. They ok, the ride is a bit harsh even though it's on it's softest setting .

I have Eibach Prokits with Tokico Premium shocks. The drop settled to about 1.5".

Acura CL 3.0, if your car has over 30,000 miles and you're planning to lower it, I suggest you get new shocks as well.
