hmmm... Most 2.2ers say DC.. is it because of performance or price... who knows.. but I hear good things...

Ceramic or Stainless.... practicxally same thing... More of a cosmetic choice of taste!

If your car is really dropped then get stainless. If you were to hit ceramic headers on something they are very likely to crack. If your car is not dropped that much then get ceramic. Ceramic is lighter than stainless so you'll save weight. Hope that helps.

you guys are giving incorect info

ok ceramic hearders have a lower running tempature because they are ss and coated with a ceramic finish which also speeds up flame travel so ceramic is a better choice generally

So basically the ceramic coated one would be a better choice...but why is stainless steel $60 more expensive?
Thanks to all of those that helped..

Here is the down low.....
The dc stainless steel header is more money because it is made out of stainless steel.

The dc ceramic header is made out of mild steel that has a ceramic coating on it.

Stainless steel is more durable than mild steel thats why the ss headers are more $$$.

I'd probably get the Greddy because they only make it in ss and it was made specificly for the 2.2 vtec engine only.

later,
Adam

ceramic is better, but it cracks easier........ the stainless steel headers tend to discolor.

but stainless looks better even with the discoloration. actually better with the discoloration. Its a deep purple to blue color on the bends and a yellowish gold around the blue. It just looks nice period.

umm as long as you buy for a 94-97 accord EX which is a 2.2 Vtech you'll be fine ... thats the whole point in specifying a 94-97 EX in stead of an LX my DC had the EX option....
