i had a question for all the 3.0 owners.....when i am speeding at about 110 my car just slows down... i mean it takes way too long to get to 115-120.....i was wondering if that was normal or is something wrong with my car

ive been 130 so i know that not max speed but i just want to know why it slows down wayyyyyyyy too much after 110

You can keep it in 3rd till about 120, then shift to 4th, but yeah it starts taking a while to get anywhere after that.

 

ive got mine up to 140+ w/no prob. u need an intake and exhaust. helps alot.

 

even with out my cai i took mine up to a 140 easy and i know it could of done more .... take it to the shop and get er looked at

Anyway, it's like that with any car, the faster your going, the harder it gets to keep excelorating. Mods will help your topend a little, but I don't think anything is wrong with your car.

eh, let's call it a "protective feature"...

after all a speeding ticket for doing 110 isn't as bad as a ticket for 115 or 120.

 

that is true but either way you are getting arrested here in dallas
