quick brake pad question!
Dealership prices for brake pads in my area are about $52.00 front and $42.00 rear.
Pep Boys are O.K. but you could do better and it would not cost that much more.
Autozone is cheap but you pay for what you get. I had alot of brake dust and they wore out quick like every 12 months. I would go with PBR or AEM. I have used both of these myself and they are very good everyday brakes. I just put PBR brakes on the back of my CL last month because they are cheaper than AEM pads. I paid $28.00 Rear and the front cost about $36.00 plus install which I do myself. they have less brake dust which is better for my rims, they have a good stopping power, no noise at all, and they have lasted about 36 months on my other car with semi aggressive street driving. The AEM pads are on my other car now and they have been just as good and lasted a little longer. Buy the best pads you can afford because they are important.
I think the red pads the other guy is asking about are AEM pads. They run about $50.00-$60.00 front and $40.00-$50.00 rear

use axxis organic, they are the only ones i have found that do not give off noise or feedback meaning sweeking
ive tried aem, hawk pro pads, pbr, raybestos sts pads, and akibono(stock pads)
the only ones that dont that i have found with slotted or drilled rotors are the axxis organic,

i have stock rotors.. not slotted or drilled.. would ceramic still be good?
i dunno!! so many choices!
but.. i cant wait for shipping..
and downshifting is out of the question.. my tranny is rough already as it is
