Question about spark plug wires

Hi, all.

On my wife's 1997 2.2 CL, I had the 60k mile service done and this included replacing the spark plugs. I noted that the wires seem a bit "worn", so I figured I would replace them. The dealer wanted like $130 for a set (includes installation), and this seemed way high to me!

Anyone have a good Internet source for these? These should be easy enough to replace myself, I would think! BTW, are any of the ones being sold on eBay sufficiently good enough? Looks like a set goes for around $25 plus shipping.

Also, should I replace any of the other wires while I am at it?

(Pardon the newbie questions here, btw.)

And, what is the difference between the 9.0mm and the 10.0mm wires that seem to be advertized on eBay? Shouldn't matter much, right?

I just replaced mine with a $95 Bosch set from Autozone. I'm sure you could find somebody selling wires on Ebay, but I would just go grab some yourself if they look worn to you. While your at it, you might as well change the dist. cap and rotor.

Hmmm ... given that the eBay ones seem to go for $20 to $25, plus about $15 for shipping, and I don't absolutely have to have the wires today, do you think that the $95 from Autozone is worth it?

I know that I would be able to just do it today on the way home from work, but ... seems like a waste to spend an extra $50 if I can avoid it.

Thanks for the observation about the dist cap and rotor ... I should do those too, yes.

don't go too cheap.

cheap wires are worse than worn OEM wires.

Thanks, folks! I will get OEM (NGK) ... they seem to be in the $60 range for the 2.2CL four cylinder engine.

Im looking into some too. I know accord is still ok, but does it matter if its for a dx or lx ? or does it have to be an ex model ?

also cap and rotor? 94-97 2.2 works for my 2.3 ?
