A question about our interior leather.

I don't know why, but my interior smells like air freshener. I really don't like that since I prefer to smell normal air.

I bought this car used, so maybe an air freshener got stuck underneath a seat or something.

Does our leather have a specific smell? It seems my leather has this smell, but I can't be sure 100%

It's probably armor all leather conditioner or something, is your leather real shiny, or slippery? Armor all has a very distinct smell like that.

When I bought my car I found some airfresheners under the seats that i presume the dealer put there. I thought they smelled good but maybe check there.

nope, I had the car for about 8 months or so... I would assume that any armor all would wore off. The leather isn't slippery at all. I'll have to find out where the smell is coming from. I looked fast underneath the seats, but couldnt find nothing.

air fresheners usually dont last more than a couple months if that. I mean unless you have a superpowered krypton one that lasts forever, which im pretty sure you dont. If you look and dont find anything hiding, try airing the car out, ride with the windows cracked (yes i know its prob cold where you are) or just leave them open and let the air rush through it when your not driving it. Another solution is try to use something else to cover the smell up. I mean how strong can an airfreshener be from 8+ months ago? Smoke some ciggs in there, that will take any fresh smelling air right the hell out lol

I don't mean to hijack this thread but, is the dash on the 01cl leather or fake? I don't know why, but I cant figure it out. I don't want to use the wrong cleaner and conditioner on it.

Fabreeze your carpet, shampoo your rugs, clean your leather and all interior surfaces with a damp rag of water, spray air sanitizer in the intake of your A/C, and when driving press the top botton on the moon roof control and ride around with you heater on.
