Put a hold on the CL
Hey guys sorry to tell you this but the CL is going to be looking the way it does for a while now. I've been wanting a street bike for a while now. So in two weekends I'm going to go get one of these
2005 Silver/Silver Metallic CBR1000RR

the 600RR looks the exact same, just lighter and more tame..... give it a drive before you make up your mind. As you are about to hear, going with a 1000 out of the starting block might not be the more educated decision you are about to make. But hey, thats my two cents, and gotta respect the fact we live in the USA, you can do what you want! goodluck with your purchase.

dude i wouldn't go to a 1000cc bike if it's ur first. you should learn on a 600cc bike first like i am doing and learn on that bike on how to balance it and drive it well. i've drove a 1000cc bike once and it was alot. it was heavier then the 600 and deffinitly not as tame. if your going for honda get the 600F4i or you can go RR. but the F4i is a better riding position and a much easier bike to drive. i've only been riding bikes for a month and do not own one personally but been driving my godfathers 600F4i. i've also ridden his 1000cc bike two weeks ago and hell it was nuts and alot of bike.

oh trust me I know that a lot of bike for my first one. I tried the R1, I like it but they are too expensive. Also I sat on the CBR600 and it's way to small for me. Because I am 6'5" it's kinda hard to find a bike that I can sit comfortable on. I even told the salesman that was helpin me that I was afraid of it and he said it only goes as fast as I want.

if u want to stay honda try the i think 94-97 VFR750 or the newer VFR800's also known as the interceptor. V4 but the 800's are more refined and comes with vtec. very torqy motors and look very nice..not an all out sport bike but goes like hell and very comfertable to ride on. and plus ur not totally making love to the tank either liek you would with the CBR1000RR

ok guys well I talked to one of my really good friends that has been riding for a while and he told me to not get that bike as my first bike and go back to the dealer and sit on the CBR600RR since it's the same size. So i went back there and I definitely like the 600 AS much if not better since it's only $8000 instead of $13000 for the CBR1000RR
