Pulleys On An Auto?!?!?

hey guys,
was wondering if pulleys on an automatic tranny would still improve performance? I talked to EAGRET....another cl'er and he vouched for the improvement in 1,2,3 gears but he had a stick. Does anyone have pulleys on their 2.2 auto? and if so, is there quite a nice imrpovement? Also, anyone know where i can get the best deal on these? THANKS GUYS!

i almost did the whole thing my self, had it all taken apart, but two stuck bolts stopped me dead. i put it back together and took it to a mechanic to get impacted off.

i had no idea what i was doing before i started, read the directions and asked a few questions on here and thats about it.

ok, so pulleys help even us slowmatics!!!! he he...liked that, anyone heard of this => My friend said he's heard through the grapevine that afermarket pulleys fuck up your power and only through a upgraded altenator do you restore that lost power. And he also heard, if you have a big battery draining system in the trunk, dont even think about pulleys! IS THIS TRUE GUYS? thanks for the HELP!

i have 400 watts, and no problems. but i have only driven with them for a few days. If you run your system at full bore at idle for long periods you will drain your battery, but if you are cruising, there will be plenty of power from the alternator to keep everythiing in check.

u can have as big of a system u want. u just cant blast it at idle. only real probs u might have is if u overtighten any of the pulleys. u can kill ur p/s or alt.

Pulleys

Cheaper and great on the 5 speed. Install 'em yourself.

Exhausts are all very different and itll take time and more money to get the one you want.
