Well i got the interior back into my car today.. I ran some new wires for the system. While i had most the interior out i decided to try to finish up a couple things on the alarm. I was gonna wire up the accessory wire for the remote start and try and find the trunk release wire. So I wire the accessory wire from my viper (orange wire on remote start harness) into the yellow wire in the ignition harness of the car which is supposed to be acc 1. While looking for the trunk relase wire at the securtiy module may have messed something up. LOng story short when i go to crank the car now everything lights up on the dash i can hear the fuel pump coming on and the starter tries to crank the car but nothing happens.. Like its not getting any FIRE.. really stressed b/c im supposed to be leaving for the beach next sat. and i need this car to drive down there. I need everybodys suggestions..

So i think im gonna start by replacing the factory security module.. The only problem is i found one close by but they want 100 dollars for it but its for a 97 cl.. I found another one thats about a 30 min drive one way but they only want 40 but its for a 98. prob gonna be a diffrent module going from 97 to 98 just knowing the diffrences in the cars. Just dont wanna spend the hundred dollars and that not be whats wrong with the car.
so did you mean that as in saying the diffrences between the 97 and 98-99 control module or meaning you dont think it could be something in the security module cutting spark to the motor? been out there messing with it all day..
problem fixed.. sorry for wasting everybody time reading this.. opened up the module and everything looked fine on the board.. no burn or discolored spots. so i hook this all back up and it still wont crank. while trying to turn it over i did what i thought you should never do with fuel injection and gave it some gas.. acted like it wanted to start.. turned the key and gave it some gas, it sputtered for a min but then reved up just fine. idled fine. drove it a while ago with no problems.. the car had been parked at an incline with the front higher than the back for about a week so maybe that had something to do with it and it wasnt anything more serious
