problems araise again!!!!!!

well, last week i took a 450 mile road trip to lawerencrburg, tn to pick up a f22 complete motor for 200 bucks. main reason i got it was for the IAC, TPS, MAPS sensors but n e ways, the ack drove there with no problems, but the second i turned into the place, car started acting up. i figured that it need a break so i waited 30 min or so and took off back home. the acceleration sucks, you couldnt go WOT or it would die. once i hit the interstate, crusied at 80 all the way it was ok but couldnt do accelerate any faster. got it home check the codes adn says #1 o2 sensor so i changed it, now its saying tps. i am confused. talked to mechanic shop and they said it sounds like a fuel issue.

while i changed my o2 sensor, i kept hearing a humming noise and i followed it too the trunk, climbed in and listen to the fuel pump and it is humming. keys off, every 10 sec it hums for 5 sec. N e suggestions??

That sux bro, you're having nothing but problems with that. Definately sounds like your fuel pump is on the brink. Also could be your fuel relay

I know you can get to the fuel pump wires through the port in the trunk, but you have to drop the tank to replace the pump I'm like 99% sure.

haha the fuel pump si right in the truck when i removed all the faberick and everything from my trunk there is 3 screws and thats it. you dont have to remove the rear seats. if its anything like a civic fuel pump me and my friend got a phillps head and took the 3 screws out then pulled the furl pump right up then took it out. it looks bassically the same as the one in the civic from the top but i have never removed mine.

That is what I was talking about in the trunk, but if you look at the helms manual, it says that you can only get to the wires. I haven't removed it so I can't say for sure, but the helms says you have to remove the tank.

did you ohm out the relay yet. no point in droppin the tank if your relay is bad. maybee a bad fuel filter, or kinked line. or even shorted wire somewhere.

well i did test the relay and it is good. i did drop the tank adn it was not that bad of a job. now on the other hand, putting it back in there was a bitch. the fuel pump did fix must of the problems. I still cannot go WOT or it bogs down and wont accelerate.

sorry no write up on the fuel pump install, i used the hanes manual and it was accurate.
