problem w/ remote

anyone ever have this problem - i replace the battery and it works fine for three days and the battery dies - i have replaced like 6 batt in 3 weeks

anyone know how much a new one is?

i need to replace my battery on my remote too...is there some special steps that i need to do when replacing it??

nothing special, just put a new battery in then hit the lock or unlock button six times within close distance to your car

i just bought a new one at the dealership for bout 60 bucks, if u buy one from ebay (which i did too but i got the wrong one), theyre like 10-15 bucks, just make sure u have the right FCC ID# or somethin like that.

so where do u get the fcc id# from??? i was thinkin of getting from ebay too

i bought one of ebay just make sure it says its for your specific year and model thats it

the FCC ID# is on the back of your current remote
