has anyone in jersey had problem with their tint.....ive been pulled over and gotten a ticket.....ive had my tints for 5 months now and have gotten two warning and $75 ticket.....has anyone else got tickets for this..?
cause in jersey the driver and passenger window are not allowed to be tinted and i have them because it looks stupid with only the back ones tinted.....
i was driving the other nite and gotten pulled and the cop was like "i pulled you over before for the tints rite?" and i was like "no"
he said yeah i pulled you over before and i trying to tell hime no you didnt and he was like ok heres a ticket then......
BASTARD!!!

 

When i get pulled over, i roll down both windows and do everything possible not to roll them back up.

 

i probably got a dozen of them over time, finally decided to take it off

well considering...i have gotten pulled over for tint...in (holmdel, middletown, marlboro, matawan, hazlet) and also got arrested in marlboro for a tint ticket that I forgot to pay...I just took the fuckin shit off, had to get inspected anyways...Rolling down your windows doesnt do shit. Mostly monmouth county those piggies just have nothing better to do.

 

but positive thing about tint...is that there is always something else the cop can write a ticket for....so maybe if he pulls you over for speeding...he will write you for tint..if the cockhead is nice

 

werd, it's saved me a lot. He's always like i'll let you slide on the speeding but will write you a tint and no front plate ticket

 

I'm glad i live down in Orlando, FL. I roll around everyday with 15% tint, and cops dont say anything. Of course almost everyone around here rides with tint so dark you cant see in the car. Cops dont say anything. I guess living in FL does have some upsides.

cop cars in florida have the darkest tints of all... they don't care... unless u get pulled over for something else by a dickhead and gives you tickets for everything that is wrong with your car...

 

tints are legal in new york, you can have any shade of tints all around so it doesnt matter....
that sucks you can have tints in ny but not nj...
rolling down the windows dont help...these damn pigs are
hip to it...if they see the back tinted they tell you to roll them
up to see....

 

I live in Altamonte Springs, near 436 and 434. I work downtown though. I just got my CL about a month and a half ago so I havent really done anything to it yet. But I did happen to be at the Bennigan's the one night when there was a group of CL's up there, must say looking good.

my car is that light blue color, but no i dont have any neon lights. All I have done to it is put on the clear front bumper lights. Thats it.

This is absolutely true. Thats why I don't ever want to get rid of it. I've had my CL 3 months, but only had tint on for about 2 weeks. No problems so far .. but my sides are very light. Before my CL I had an Explorer, and that had 5% on every window besides the windshield .. which had a strip at the top. I got one ticket in Wall township, one ticket in Dover (Toms River), and one I actually got mailed to me by a cop in the town that I live in, Lacey, because he saw it while I was parked at the highschool for school one day. How dick is that?? I'm trying to learn and I have to worry about cops driving through the parking lot taking plate numbers. I just pay them and forget about it.

 

FYI this was all in the course of 2 years, with about 3 or 4 warnings where they let me off. 3 tickets in 2 years isnt bad. Oh by the way JeRZeyGuY .. All my tickets were 44 dollar standard non-moving violation tickets. I don't know why yours was 75????

 

i got a $75 tix in passaic on nite and one of my friends was told to peel off his tints at the spot or else they would give him a $200 ticket....man that sucks......
