problem with suspension

ok heres the deal, my suspension setup is skunkworks coilovers with koni yellow shocks, couple days ago the ride seemed fine, but now every time i hit a little bump or the ride gets bouncy the front rattles as if something were about to fall off the car, everything looks in place and all, but its getting worse and worse and it sounds like sooner or later something will break, what should i do? i was running a 3.5 inch drop but now im currently running a 2.75-3 inch drop, oh and the coilovers and shocks were made for a v6 accord (3.0 cl) mynes is a 2.2, could that also be a problem, i need help or im gonna raise my car and just save up for teins

yeah, the suspension for the 2.2 is different than the 3.0. Especially in the front of the car, because the 3.0 is a v6 and the 2.2 motor is much lighter.

i dont think that would be a problem. the only difference would be the one made for V6 can handle the heavier engine up in front. maybe its your ball joints. did you get a camber kit? also, where did you paint your side skirts, i gotta do mines

SOLUTION: you are fine with what you have.... the overall coilover set up is usually the same... but the spring RATES are fdifferent... riding so low puts alot of stress on spring and reduces travel on the shock... YOU ARE BOTTOMING OUT YOUR SHOCKS!!!! I know becuaes my brother had this prob on his TL-S and we solved it by ordering a higher weight rated spring... he had 300s and went to 400s (or 450s)... Once you change that you should be fine...

and btw,.... there will always be a smalll rattling sound with every suspension on that much a drop... its the nature of the beast!!!
