problem with my shock sensor

So i followed will99 diagram. The door unlock and locks with the chirp. But when I shake it the led light blinks so I know there is power to it. But i lost the ability to have the alarm go off when the doors are open, and plus the shock sensor doesn't work. I checked all the connections and they are all good. I have the blue wire attached to the hood latch which is the light green wire. I am damn annoyed.

i ended up having to hook it up to the door switch wire on the same harness. ill take a pic of mine and shoot it to u. tho i still dont have the lock chirp. i do have the unlock chirp tho. i think since the doors uperate the dome light that is why u dont have any action from hooking it up to the hood. if there was a way to open the hood with it armed then im sure it would go off.

red goes with white w/grey dots, black goes with black with grey dots, and blue goes with turquoise w/black stripe and grey dots.

I didn't do it yet. But i did notice this. Right now I lost the lock chrip. BUT if you unlock and then lock you get the chirp back. Do you have this? If so gotta figure out Y the first time you lock it doesn't chirp.

i really dont understand it my self, cause if u try to lock the doors with the door open it cherps three times still. so it doesent think the door is still open.

Ok I did some spying on other forums. I went to club RSX. There is a difference in maturity level there. They have 12 pages to this shock sensor deal. It took them 5 pages to figure out which wires after one guy post on which wires in like the first page. THe standard 5 pages of flaming, etc etc. They trying though to get the warning to work though. But there is one difference between ur install and theirs. They used a diode. For those that have no idea what that does, it allows current to only flow one direction. My reasoning with this might be the shock senor might be confusing the brain of the security with extra current. When I get home i do more searching which direction and what voltage. I think if we use this we might get the chirp back. Right now my chirp comes on but on like on the second press of the lock button.

This was ripped off club rsx.

Red -> +12V
Yellow -> Ground
Blue -> Goes to Green/Black wire on "Security Control Unit"
Green -> Pre Warn (Not Currently Hooked Up)

From that is what they did. They didn't have a nice chart like yours so they have to only do it by wire color. That must have been a bitch for them. From the DEI directions (they edited for their wires) you need a diode if you don't use the warning. You don't need a diode if you use all 4. There was a couple of people that didn't use the diode and it gave them werid problems. I hope this is the reason Y we experiencing this problem. Damn 75 cent part.

Right now it rainy and it might rain for the whole week. So I might not get to it till this weekend. Also I forgot to mention it should be around a 1 amp diode. Also the direction matters. Follow the picture. There is a line and the line should be on that side.

I'm doin it thursday night. the line on the diode shows where the cathode(negative) side is. It's used to allow voltage to travel only in one direction. Are you guys taping into the door trigger?

well grounding it to the chassy doesent help at all. it still works as a shock sensor so u could wire it to the chassy for easier installation. looks like a trip to radio shack. what are the specs on the diode required?

Without the diode mine is like that too. I have to lock, unlock, and then lock, there is a chirp. From this I think that the shock sensor doesn't disable the chirp. It just might be that extra current flowing around confusing the brain.

The people who used the shock sensor without a diode had that same problem on club rsx when it got cold.

Try turning down the senitivity also. I think if you have the max, wind blowing it will set it off. If you mounted it to a really good spot.
