Problem with 01 throttle body swap....

Problem with 01 throttle body swap....

What to do, the 98 has an extra vacuum line. I know someone has done it here, help would be great.

You can use any vacuum line thats close by. Cut it put a "t" in it and use the vacuum from there.

BTW, is the line on the '01 just outside of the circle to the left vacuum or coolant?

can u use some of those li K&N filters?? I dont know it if will work or not, thats why Im askin

Looks like its just a bigger vacuum port. More pics of the 01 would help.

When i installed mine I had one extra hose not in use.

not really, no. It did almost get rid of the whistle from the intake though.

Did you just replace the TB's? I'm gonna machine intake manifold so it matches the 01 TB bore.

I just replaced the throttle body. For best performance you should port the throttle body spacer also, thats something Ive wanted to do but my lazy ass hasnt gotten around to it yet.
