Pro Kits Installed

I finished installing my eibachs this morning and man does the car look good. I really wanted to go lower but i got a great deal on these from Ciliver2.3 who went out of his way to make me happy when getting these springs. He even went as far as to overnight them from CA I was kind of worried about the ride and it isnt too bad but it gets kind of jumpy while on the interstate while hitting a ridge or a gradualy slope. It does however handle much much better. I think im going to have to get some other handling goodies (strut bar, lower tie, shocks, etc) because i love how i can cut corners now.
As for the install, i did it all by myself and i def. recommend doing it with a friend because i could have used another hand so many times during the install. I think if i had to do it over again i would just pay the 150 and had them installed but now that im done im glad i figured out how to do it myself and saved the money. Doing it yourself makes it feel so much better. I took a few pics during the install and would be glad to do a how to thread if someone wants it. The only thing is im not sure what size sockets i used, i totally forgot to look Thanks to everyone that helped me thru the install

Sorry its kinda dirty Oh does anyone know how to get my dirty hands clean? There is black crap ground in and the fast orange stuff isnt cutting it.
Before the drop (I know my side skirts are messed up )

It looks great!! Your car has been waiting for that for a while now. As far as the overnight shipping goes, I have no problem helping out a fellow A-CL OG. Glad you are happy with the springs!!

looks great. what shocks you have? i got a deal on prokits myself from another memeber of the board. im hoping that set on the lower perch of some koni yellows the car will drop another 1/4 - 1/2". I would appreciate it if you could send me and email about how to do it. i thought it was almost impossible without a spring compressor. btw i will have helms manual so u dont have to get into too great detail.

Haha i know its still not as low as yours but i put a lot of miles on this thing, i want a somewhat comfortable ride

VXCL Yes i did use a spring compressor but it was only a 42 dollar deposit which i got back and i probably could have done w/o it especially the back but i dont recommend it even though it scratched up my front springs taken it off I will try and put a how to thread up tomorrow with a few pics i snapped or you can IM me on AOL As for the shocks, i know i should have waited until i got them to do the install but i couldnt so im on stockers for now

so u are on stocks. thats is good cuz i was worried it wouldnt be low enough for me, but thats good, plus with the konis it will be slightly lower. now all i need is my $2000 check to clear from state farm so i can finally get my car fixed. i also picked up audi a6 hid ballastsa nd bulbs for $250. can beat that. ill let everyone know how i custom fit em.

See! Wasn't it worth it?

Looks great!

Now when you put your aftermarket shocks/struts on, the job will seem like a piece of cake!
