Could it just be my shocks??? I don't think it's the sleave, the coils shouldn't be that close! But I will check. Thanks.... This is weird, this didn't happen the first 3 months!

i had the same problem when i installed my pro kit almost a 8 months ago. wut happened was the non progressive part of the spring are almost sitting on top of each other/ no seperation, and there were clunking/thud sound when i go over bumps.

#1. i contacted eibach spring tech. the tech that i spoke with told me that it is normal for the non progressive part of the spring to seat like that. he said that it was designed that way. when i ask him about the clunking sound, he suggested that i put a piece of honda spring tubing (part #52442-sm1-a00) over the coil between the progressive and non progressive part of the spring. he said that is where the clapping come from. the honda part list above is about a dollar he said.
#2. the clapping or clunking noise in my rear springs are gone with the honda silencer tube (part # listed above) however, you would need four of these on each side to seperate or prevent the coil to coil contact. what ive used was a [3/8"] diameter wire conduit. i just wrapped them around @ the non progressive part of the spring coil, and it is working very good. no more cluking over bumps.
after 8 months the wire conduit still work fine. no clunking sound and they seem to holding up still.
