So tell me about the premium edition cl's. What years was it available, and what does it add?

 

i think in 99 they were all premium editions. I think 98 too. In 97 i think only the leather cars were.


Not 100% sure on any of this though.

 

Mine's a 98 premium... thats all i know... no idea what the hell the difference is... marketing technique i suppose :p

 

I think ghander is correct, the 97 2.2 had a choice of base and premiums (leather etc.)

All other years are "premium"

The Premium edition was an "option" on the '97-'98 models. The 1999 CL were sold as 2.3CL Premium and 3.0CL Premium.

mine is a 2.2 premium cl, but does not have bose, seat warmers or mirror warmers either. I think those just come on the 3.0cls, right dust

 

I dont have seat warmers either , I park outside in the winter

 

ok whats up with the fogs...mines a 97 3.0 premium but mine didnt come with fogs...was that even another option not offered on the premium version??

 

Fog lights were a dealer-installed option. All CLs are wired for the optional fog light kit.


nandowong: The Bose system only came on the 3.0 (both Premium and non-Premium).

Seat warmers only came on the 3.0's with leather seats (Premium). Power HEATED mirrors only came on the 3.0 (both Premium and non-Premium).

 

soooo cuz mine came from a ghetto dealer, they didnt deside to put fogs on??? (theose bastards...lol) I want then but i dont want to spend like the $150 for them...
