anything between 4300k and 6000k is fine. Personally I'd lean towards 4300k, but 6000k is just fine. (This is for HID's btw)

if thats the case stick with the regular halogens...

dont bother wasting the cash on something that "looks" like HID's...

save for the drop, then start saving for the hids... it'll be worth it. trust me.

Your drop should be your first mod.

oh.

Silverstars are what you wanna go with if you really want... otherwise, go with the sylvania halogen OEM replacements...

I um, drive with my lights on at night I dont drive around with my high beams on. Only on rare occasions during the day when I'm driving around with friends, or at a car meet or something.

the high beams were just on for teh pics. they arent reaimed, I dont think or know how to reaim em anyways

its really hard to capture the color of HID's on camera. For some reason mine came out really purple. Id say the closest pic showing their color is pic 1, white with a slight hint of purple.

8k isnt bad.

12k is getting a little crazy.

Ideally, I'd get 4300 - 6k.

isn't having clear corners without putting in yellow bulbs like this illegal?

i have clear corners just like this and was wondering if i needed to get yellow bulbs to help avoid the 5-0 at all costs

Technically yes, but I have amber/orange turn signals which is what cops look for. Lots of cars have clear corners. And I passed inspection with them this year Last year had to put ambers lenses back in

High Intensity Discharge.to upgrade to hid's your gonna need bulb and ballast and ignitor(i recommend a ballast with built in ignitor).a 9006 plug and play for the win.you can install in your exixting headlight.

i noticed the color depends on brand, also outside lighting affects color. my boy's 6k(ebay special) is blue as hell no purple at all.just like some brands have a 10k-12k(super blue-purple).i rarely see a purple hue coming from my lights it's more bluish in the daylight.overall mine are too white for my liking.....

Anyone have pictures of a blackhoused w/amber corners?? (Not bumper lights but the parking light in the headlight). Also, not an amber light bulb, something with amber film or other???
