a possible new "luxury" mod?

has anyone seen the interior of the new Lexus SC430's? On the back of the driver and passenger headrest is the plastic, chrome painted "L" lexus emblem, I was thinking about going to Acura and buying two chrome or gold A's, and putting them on the headrest, any ideas, any feed back?

its a good idea... but no one will see them back there... especially since your windows are tinted and you probably dont have that many people back there...

I think it'd be a waste... probably why toyota came up with it.

it would be kind of sweet when people are sitting in the backseat, and when the windows are down and people can see it, also when the chair is reclined?
o well, i thought it was a good idea

reclined, or flipped forward???

If you like it, go for it... I just personally dont have enough people in the back seat to justify something like that...

I think stiched logos on the headrest might look less bootleg than plastic emblems...IMO

It would be cool if your backseat passengers weren't wearing seat belts and you just happened to slam your brakes. They would have big A Marks on their foreheads. IMO Why stop at the backseat headrest? Why not put an Acura emblem where everyone can see it? Like the glove box, when you fold down the sun visor, in the center storage compartment, in the coin holder, or my favorite...the space underneath your spare and jack in the trunk.

Ricer or Lux?

We asked 100 people if they thought it was ricer or luxury. And the survey says!

LoL, everyone's just givin' ya a hard time. Sounds like its for some, and not for others. I don't think its ricey, personally I just think my car isn't classy enough to pull that off without looking bootleg. Give it a try, post some pics of it, and let us see, nothing wrong with trying something different!

I think the stichted emblem on the front of the headrest looks real classy. My brother and I just installed some custom leather on his Legend. It has black leather headrests with a tan 'A' stitched on it.
Not ricey at all. . . in fact, I was thinking about getting it done on my car.

so you like the A's on the headrests Rob? Im thinking about getting the same color leather i have in my car now with some lighter gray or silver suede inserts with the "A" on the front two headrests in the lighter grey. Do you think that would look good and how hard was it to install? Did you used the hoop things and do you have any pics thanks
