I am getting pretty frustrated trying to find a hood for my car? I am starting to think there is no such thing!

I am looking to get a hood made, custom - whatever, with a carbon fiber intake scoop-------where am i not looking? Can one of u's fill me in?

Is money an issue for you? If not, try Andy's autosport. Do a search, or I can get the phone #. His company can make one to fit your car. Too bad you weren't in the Bay Area. His shop that does the kits is about 15 minutes away from the CL meet that is going on this weekend.

 

wheres this in ca? --------> Money is not a problem just as long as it isn't too rediculous=) Is there even a way to take the hood i have and modify? Could i put like a hood scoop in the middle, just like the ones on the link? Hook up that # if you can....Thanx Bro

ok im not trying to bust your balls or anything but why do you want a hood scoop? Will it be functional? or is it just for looks? Again im not trying to flame you for doing it.

 

it will be functional and also for looks! No offense tooken=) I did not buy a cl to hook it up like a hoo ride.

 

unless your doing a big nasty turbo with a top mounted intercooler.. don't get a hood scoop.. it'll be pointless and useless.. send your hood out to a carbon hood place and they'll custom mold you a hood for 2grand..

 

2geez? God Dam! Ok Never Mind....=] Yo , you have the h22? How does your car run? Is there problems after engine swap? I was going to do it but i here not too. So i was going to go with turbo......Whats your input?
