someone explain this photoshop stuff to me...i want to use it but have no idea what it is or how to get it...

 

Its an imaging program. Its about 200 bucks i think (thank you internet )
That is used for all kinds of imaging stuff.

Is there anymore to add?

its more like 400 or 500 bucks if you buy it legally. Unlike some people on this board.

EDIT: if you want something free try The GIMP or Microsoft Paint.NET. They're not as powerful as Photoshop but they work. You could also get a stripped down version of Photoshop called Photoshop Elements for under $100.

I don't know if it still works but you used to be able to download the demo from Adobe and then use a serial generator to bypass the activation and get the whole program for free. (not that I would know )

for my mac i have ps, and 2 other adobe programs w/ my student discount 450$ OUCH

 

fuckin macs...yet we still get 'em and love 'em anyway, i know i love my iBook, iMac, iPod, iPorn....k, maybe that last one wasn't an apple product but i love it anyway....

 

yeah, upgraded g4 powerbook 12 incher here. keeps me happy i guess

i think you should go to adobe.com and download the 30-day trial its the samething as the full but you wont have the serial number ;-). Its a very advance program for image manipluation. Very confusing is you never use it before. theirs a lot of tutorial online to help you as well.
