Ok this is going to sound dumb but why does the bell thing ring when i turn my parking light on. Does that mean the parking light might kill my battery. Cuz that doesn't make senses if its used for parking.

i know this is a dumb question but its bothering the crap out of me

 

its a reminder when your car is off to turn off your lights or you may have a drained battery on your hands when you come back.

yeah, its just a reminder when you leave your car. just like it would ring if you leave your keys in the ignition when the car is off and open your driver door.

 

just a reminder to turn them off, and you park with your door open?

 

I think it's probably just for use if your running in to pay a bill or something when your car is running, but using them when your car is off is probably not advised.

 

Yeah, the only time I put my parking lights on is if I'm on the road before it gets dark outside. Like right as the suns going down. Ive never actually seen someone park, and leave their 'parking' lights on. haha.
