Optima Size/Battery spacer
Guys, I searched, but only found 3 threads which i've already read. I'm lookin at gettin a D34/78 Yellow Top Optima Battery. Anyone with optimas, you know if the size will work, I believe it's about the right size, even though they all vary on their website. Anyone have experience with yellow tops, or know what size will fit/almost fit? And, do I need the spacer?
i know your gettin a yellow top..but, i have a red top and all i did was measure the size of the existing battery space and got the measurements off the new red top and they were pretty much the same.Their were 2 diff red top sizes, i had to get the smaller of the two.
get a blue top if they have one the extra posts come in handy... anyway yeah i couldnt use that plastic battery spacer the OEM one so i just took it out...its fine the battery doesnt really fit into the OEM spacer its kinda taller a bit.

I know all about the blue tops. I would prefer the yellow top, I don't really need the extra posts, all my wiring, lights, etc are already ran. Just need the battery to support them. Still torn between which size optima is better, can anyone tell me which fits best?
