So we all know the CL's are slow, but what have you actually beat?

I beat a few 88-91 civics, and thats about all i had the guts to even compete with.

i beat my friends 2002 A6 3.0 on the freeway. he hit 120, and i hit 135 and passed him, i think the only way i was able to beat him, was because i was almost on empty..lol I beat a older VW jetta's and Accord's. and then you have your civics. other then that...my car is slow..lol

Ya see, here in washington there aren't that many well built engines. Most people throw on an unpainted body kit, intake and exhaust and call it a day. Most of these people drive civics, tercels, and kia's. I prey on them like sharks on tourists off the coast of florida.

2002 Nissan Maxima SE 6.0 14.7 and the one i raced was an 01 with 100k 3 people total, me 2 total and his check engine went on right after the race

To tell you guys the truth i believe about half of the wins u say you have won. a 3.0 beating a turbo ls. the teg weights about half of our car and peopblay was pushin arounf 200hp if not more thats probley with 8 pounds of boost. come on guys be honest also my boy has a 02 Gti with a chip d-pipe and exo and he runs low 14's hi 13's at the track i ahve seen it in action its not a jokin car. xome on now guys

 

i cant take a modded Gti. a stock 1.8t yes, but anything else, no. Ive never raced a 3.0 before, but i imagine i must be able to take it. Im sure i could h22 swaps too.

 

Im not saying some people cant. but some of this is a down right kack right out of the a hole.
