i finally got my intake in the mail... ...

opened the box... i see these 2 brackets for mounting... 1 straight one about 6 inches with 3 holes in and 1 L-shaped one about 1 1/2 inches with 1 hole in it... but.... i don't see any mounting pieces extended from the intake tube itself that I can attach these brackets to... any ideas please? THANKS...

Well, mine's pretty ghetto, but it might work for you????

First, take a look at my pics (in my sig).

You'll see that I left the bottom of the air box on the car. Keeps water out, but it also acts as a rest for the intake.

Pretty ghetto, but no mounting brackets needed!

 

R.. u the man!!!.... ahha.. i think i'll just do the same.. ahahah... take out the filter and that's it ehh... ^___^
