Off The Strength..

i recently have had this "off the strength" occurance with my 99 3.0 .

its at a red light / stop sign. I am fully stopped. I slowly, when i say slowly, i mean slowly,

like millimeter by millimeter, let off the brake without hitting gas. When I am in the process

of coming off of the brake pedal, the car shakes. I find this odd. It almost feels as if

im an in a car with a manual trans and im letting off the clutch quickly. Not as severe a

shake, but it is there, and it is getting to me. I also have noticed that when my car is fully

stopped or parked and running, every accessory light besides the clock and climate control

blink very rapidly, can this have anything to do with the high beam conversion? The

blinking even occurs on my parking lights and courtesy lights

when my A/C is off and my stereo is off. I have a feeling if I get a Fuel Filter change, New

Plugs, and New Wires I might fix all of my problems.

- Please Give me some Advice

- What are good plugs? (heard that the platinums are not good, might go with ngk)

- What are good Wires? (have no knowledge on this)

- All Fuel Filters are typically the same, correct?

the light problem sounds like a definate alternator planning to go out soon like in a week or 2

the shaking i dont know about but i have the shakes a little too but that is from the balencing of the tires and i think mine are off

it could also be the tranny clutch packs enaging and having trouble catching and causing the car to shake some

How much does it shake?

also by replacing the wires and plugs would not help the shaking at all and the fuel fiter could be going out but not too sure you would probably have to have it checked out or clean the filter if you can

good plugs to get are denso iridiums, get about 1-2hp out of them and good wires are the magnacore wires but dont go too big i would say not bigger than a 10mm but i think a 9.5 is perfect

wire for a v6 will run you about 100 for the 4cyl about 80 and for the plugs i paid 13 a plug at a local tuner shop i think it was 96 for all the plugs for a v6

i got the top of the line sears battery. (the gold edition).

I got a re-built alternator.

Could my battery to alternator connection be coroded.

I feel like something is coroded somewhere along the line.

I also cannot wait to get my battery cap put on, it might put a damper on my problem

the flickering is getting worse!

I feel like theres is a big problem with my car.

the shaking is getting more and more violent when i "creep" in the ack.

I'm scared that my alternator is gonna go again and that mycar might seriously be messed

up. Someone @ work said that maybe it has something to do with my brakes (the shakes).

I think the electric system of my car is faulty. Theres gotta be something going on from

the battery to alternator to the engine, somewhere along those lines. I think that my

alternator might be fine but theres some thing thats seriously worrying me. I'm

getting my power cap put in saturday, maybe this will help me.

if it was the brakes your car would shake when applying the brakes, reason would be warped brake rotors

Mabey the alternatior is goin out again

I really hope the alternator isnt going out again.

What do you guys think is the problem here?

the shaking happens usually when i have less than a half a tank of gas.

no one else has had these shakes ?

please do. It sounds like a fuel problem if it only stutters at half a tank or less... maybe you fucked up your fuel pump with all that nitrous use. You do have nitrous don't you? I could swear I saw you purging in a pic once.

you guys think that 500 was a lot for a steering wheel?

i payed 460 for a tune up.

wires/plugs/airfilter/fuelfilter/cap/rotor

I got the 150$ wires . they are KEM wires. yellow edition.

my car is a little more peppy. we will see what happens when i get below half a tank.

i think itlll go away cuz after i filled up (with 89 rather than 87) it shook very lightly, then went

away. I think its on its way into its glory days 49,8600 miles. Im lovin it baby, just lovin it
