i'm assuming you're talking about the older NSX's because the newer ones (97+) are a 3.2 liter. They probably have a much higher compression and just way more agressive....everything It's a completely different motor. Some people used to always try to say that it's the same motor as a TL

And to answer the original question...Its a completely different platform.
DOHC
RWD
MidEngine
And considering those, the numbers didn't jump that much AT vs AT...
3.0L 252 hp V6
Horsepower 252 @ 6600 RPM
Torque (lb-ft) 210 @ 5300 RPM

You should see some of the questions over at the G35C forums...
I remember one dude going "Someone told me my car is different from the Skyline GTRs in Japan...Is that true?"

OK I get that its a diffferent platform I'm not that dumb but the engine is different if its DOHC and ours is SOHC. So on the automatic is it a 4 speed or a 5 speed auto and is there any way to transplant the auto 3.0 into our cars?

engine revs opposite way? i believe this has been covered many times... and in the NSX the motor is mounted longitudinally... lengthwise... instead of regularly horizontal mounting.
I believe that was the conclusion... $10+ to do the swap was the verdict... (I read a lot of threads)

I like the post that was over at v6performance.com. The kid built either a 3.5 or 3.2 and put it into the cord v6. I wonder the affordability of that project.

dunno just cranks the opposite way...?
because of the mounting of the engine... probably most efficient the way they designed it.

And to add even more, rotation is the same. The only Honda motors that are conventional clockwise rotation are the F20C (variants) and the K series variants. Otherwise, all the other motors, the C30/32B NSX motors included, are counter-clockwise rotation oriented.
