NOt to bag on Honda/Acura But...

I love my CL it is a 1998 2.3 MANUEL transmission. When I read about problems fellow Brother & Sisters of the Acura orientation have it almost always revloves around the AUTOMATIC tranny.

I know friend who had earlier model Honda's 80's-90's had problems with the auto, and the trannies in the CL where made in Japan. I think Honda/Acura really can't make a good auto without "beta testing" it on the first 20,000 vehicles.

Just a thought, my first good car was an 82 Honda Accord Hatch w/manuel and part of the reason I love my 1998 CL 2.3 manuel is that I get the same "boy-racer" feeling with it. Oh weel just my opion.

Yup the manual is the way to go. I have one with 187,xxx miles (need to update sig) and have had no tranny problems at all (actually no real problems at all) The newer CL is dropping trannies all over the place though
