How come there are no Honda or Acura sponsered rally entries. It is all WRX and FOCUS and PUGO and RENO, and CITRON and Mitsubishi and Audi.







I want to see a rallified RDX or RSX, It could kick ass on those FORDs and Mitsis

 

Maybe something about AWD. Just throwing that out there.

Because acura's and honda's aren't rally cars???? and no awd helps

 

at the local level there are a few competing with itr and do very well in them...but at the professional level it obviously gets more competitive

 

They are doing it with Neons. Last time i checked they arent awd. But maybe install that, i dunno.

 

neons arent in the world rally .. for exactly that reason. same with honda/acura.


no awd = no world rally entrance

local and nation rallys will have FWD cars such as rsx, neon, talon (no-awd), civic, etc.

 

i thought they were using an SRT-4?

 

not that i know of...they ARE using a focus sxt? not sure the exact name but its an awd focus you won't see here in the states

found out the focus in wrc is the ford focus rs...and i'm sure it won't have any concerns about that rsx even at 1/4 throttle =)



anyways, back on topic...there was a recent pikes peak hill climb and a member at honda-tech was able to get some shots...some fwd cars being represented
