Next Mod??..need Some Suggestions

Bored Thought I would start a New thread. I have a budget of about 700 for my next mod right now, should be doubled in a month or so. But I need some suggestions or opinions on what I should do next.

My Acura:
Headers, UR Pulley, TBS, CAI, Apexi VAFC II, Audio System, and simple mods like smoked tails and smoked corners. Just had the brakes redone.

Not really feelin the WW lips or anything like that but would like somethin to spice it up on the outside too like wheels!. But really wanting interior and engine stuff done first. Would should be the next move, BTW its a 99 3.0 let me know I'm up for TONS of suggestions on what to do next thanks guys!

I would go with exhaust.
How do you like the Apexi VAFC II?
I'm thinking of getting one.
Can you tell a difference?
What pulleys did you get from UR?
Thanks!

I like the VAFC II alot, maybe not as far as Horsepower, advance timing does help alot!..just the underdrive or crank pulley

For the first reply yeah i forgot to mention that I have a STOCK tranny..so thats outta the question unless i get a new transmission

I was gonna say exhaust, so drop. If you're trying to spice it up, drop her, then do rims, drop b4 rims no matter waht

I say some really nice coilovers and maybe a sway bar, suspension mods are the most valuable IMO...

my suggestions for exterior.

sidemarkers (amber or clear, whichever you prefer)
HID with yellow high beam bulbs
an OEM spolier
im not sure on your color, but do something with your grill, and forget that cheap mesh crap.

its tuff with a CL to be honest because of the limited options for the exterior. thats why its sooo much easy for accord owners. i envy them sometimes.

thats debatable. each have their pros and cons. its an easier car to work with and make look nice, but theres alot of rice parts out there for them aswell.

o0o and i forgot. you could make yourself some custom blackhousing headlights aswell.

I dont know about the CL scene as much, but I have heard great things about Tein and K-Sport coilovers- both of which are very reasonably priced.

compared to the JICs for my solara ($1700) that isnt too bad, haha. Isnt there a base model Tein coilover that goes for about $800?

Yeah, tein basics are about $650-700 just no adjustment on the dampers and no top mounts

oh, thats no good then... I would say go with k-sports then for a bargain coilover, I really liked the quality of mine and they have a lot of adjustability.

One of my old threads gets into all the details, or it could have been someone else's thread. 3.5L with a rough estimate of what it should run you depending on what the shop charges. But I don't see it running more than $2,000. A low and fair price would be around $1,300. Simply find a J35A4 short block, and you're set. The short block itself should only run around $400-$600. But it's finding it thats a problem. For the most part, junk yards will only sell you the long block. Took me 3 months to find one.
