new window motor

hey guys, i just changed my driver side window motor/regulator because the old one broke and the window was stuck, i went and bought a brand new one and changed the old one out and everything should be okay right? wrong.... after replacing the motor and attaching everything back the window struggles to close and go up, like its too weak or something and its brand new? but it goes down fine any suggestions as to what the problem is?
