New Trunk progress

Hey all, as I said before, I was redoing the trunk. Got the subs flush mounted in the rear right now, 2 guage cable, Monster Cable RCAs (XLNs), and the NX Bottle mounted in the spare tire well. I'll take pictures of the progress of tomorrow (been working on it for the past two days). What's shown here is the first day's work: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/clt...&.dnm=6a41.jpg

Going to be mounting a Rockford 501x on the left and a 801s on the right (both flush mounted above the nitrous bottle).

To come next: Plexiglass window peering down into the spare tire well for the nitrous.

I know it doesn't seem like much, but I spent most of my day today dynamatting the rear seats and running all the cables, and mounting all the neon tubes. I'm thinking about some strobe lights in the trunk as well, but haven't made up my mind.

And no, a nitrous tank wont fit there - the gas tank is right underneath the rear seats.....i think that would be a very bad decision to start cutting into that

Oh, and I also mounted the 1 farad capacitor in the rear arm rest (took out that cheesy plastic protector and mounted the cap on a piece of fiberboard which is screwed into the back seat from the trunk.

hey heres an idea make a flat piece of mdf for the trunk to protect your tank some what cause all that you have between the tank and the nos is some dynomat

the make a 45 or less degree of mdf and make a platform to mount the takeso that the knob to turn it on and off is in the center between the 2 subs, then seal the rest up and you have a nice little setup

hit me up on aol im @ jgiguere17 if you dont know what im talking about i can draw you a pic of what ive seen others do like im trying to tell ya

actually, that's kinda what im' going to be doing tomorrow. I'm making a false floor out of this. Flush mounting the amps (they're going to sit at about the same level that the top of the nitrous tank is going to be, then a plexiglass window will be showing into the nitrous area from the top. hmm...interesting....definitely have to show pictures tomorrow. Check back probably saturday, or maybe even friday, depending on how drunk i am friday night haha

I used plenty of backstraps and the factory pocket. Works beautifully now. I hate those stupid honda multi kits....they just dont look good.

They're metal brackets that have holes in them. Looks very very nice for the finished product and no ghetto like that stupid Metra kit
