I plan on getting a STi after I sell my car. Would you get a brand spanking new one off the lot, or a slightly used one with ~5000 miles on it for about 3k less? I dont know what to do.

 

well i read in consumer reports that the best time to buy a car is when it is one or two years old.. slightly used becuz the people who had the car could not have beat on it that much also you dont have to break the engine in and finally the price is or should be a signifcant amount cheaper... use the three grand for upgrades..

think about this if u had an STi would u have driven it hard? if u get a new one you won't have to ask yourself was this car taken good care of?

 

I would only in a rare occasion, buy a used performance car!

 

I say buy it brand new, with less than 10 miles on the odometer. 3k isnt that much difference. I guarantee you that those 5k miles were some hard miles. I mean, if i first got an STi, i'd rag the shit out of, racing everywhere. Think about that, if u're already spending 30k, 33k isnt shit.

or if it was me, i'd get a 2005 C-Class when it comes out.
