new rotars, ?help

Hey my steering wheel is shaking REAL BAD when I brake. I just had the alignment done, and they said my rotars are pretty bad. I'm gonna get new ones, probably off ebay and this is my question.

Are the 97 and 98-00 rotors any different?

Most of the ones I found say 94-97 accord/96-97 cl. I hate how all these companies swear that theres a 96 CL! Just a little confused, and I know some of you have replaced yours, so let me know if they are different. Thanks!

Hell, yeah!

The rotors are designed differently between the '97 and '98/'99 models.

Front rotors from the '97 models are the "hub-over-rotor" design. This means that the hub has to be pulled off before you can get the rotor off (about a 4-hour job--without a hub puller).

The '98-'99 rotors are the "rotor-over-hub" design. With these, you just remove the rotor and don't need to touch the hub (about a 45-minutes job).

You'll need to purchase front rotors for the '98/'99 2.3CL.

BTW: I think a lot of companies confuse the '97 CL as a '96 (since technically, it was released in '96 as a '97 model).

EDIT:
Here's a pic I have showing the '97 front and rear rotors. The ones on the left are the '97 front rotors (notice the pattern of the center area). Even though the ones one the right are for the rear, they pretty much look like the '98/'99 front rotor design (notice the pattern of the center area).

There is no rotors for 98's on ebay right now, so i'll just keep looking. I'm glad to hear is a pretty easy job cause I hate paying for installs.

They are held on my two small screws. You might need new screws. My screws were so rusted that when they finally got them off, they pretty much fell apart. But they are kinda expenisve considering it just two screw, $5

I have Brembo Rotors from iRotor.com.

If you have what I do, then they look like my pic above.
