new rims ???
go for it... they'll look 10 times better when they are actually on the car. 18's are too much to worry about, especially if theres a lot of potholes (or in my case, dirt roads).
do yourself a favor
and get some 19's cuz thats what my plans are

I say go for it!
18's bend to easily, at least thats what I have heard from 2 others who have them, well that could be the shitty roads here in DC as well, but don't waste the extra loot if the roads by you are really crappy, get the 17's then and drop her about an inch or two.

Let me explain a bit on my decision. I don't wanna go with 18" or higher for a couple of reasons. 1. I drive very aggresively. I hate driving slow, and if I go with 18" I'll have a better chance of bending them. 2. The roads here in Northern NJ SUCK!!! 3. Going with 18 instead of 17 I would also cut back on some speed.
I appreciate the comments. Also, I do plan on lowering the car. Still deciding whether I want to do struts and springs or go for coilovers. That's up in the air.
Like sumkidwithacl said, they'll look much better on my car in real like, then photoshopped.
