New Parts Installed!!!

I have been working on the car alot lately doing little stuff and upgrading some parts. I installed a 7" Pyle LCD screen, a Legacy DVD/MP3/CD/CDRW Player, Acura-CL Door Sills, engine dress up kit, Injen Oil Cap, New TL Rear "A" Emblem, New 3.2CL "ACURA" Emblem, and I have a new system setup that is not finished for about another week but heres a preview of what i did with my dremel, lots of time, patience and some sand paper.

Pic #1 - http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jgi...c=ph%26.view=t

Pic #2 - http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jgi...se.jpg&.view=t

My design is the logo above and I have a same size board painted white to go behind the cut out and they are about 4 in apart from the front piece to the back piece, in between the piece will be a blue neon, 15" that will glow through the acl logo, for the floor I have taken a piece of MDF that is not too thick but not too thin and cut out a big "A" logo about 12" in diameter and then I makde a custom box that surrounds the "A" from below and I have 2 red neons, 10" that will go in there and light up the "A" logo. the cool thing is I can still have my spare in there and have room the box for the "A" logo

Note: if any of you guys have problems with any ground noise, I had major ground noise, I would recommend a thing called a suppressor, I got mie on ebay for 7 bucks brand new. when i plugged I in and turned on the car, there was no more ground noise, but this is not good if you have one amp for everything because if you have your subs hooked up the the same amp you are suppressing it will suppress the sub a little, but for 7 bucks it has fixed my problems and I have been having this problem for over a year going now :bubbarubb

Let me know what you guys think of my design, final pics to come soon I promise

i think the bigger A logo is nice and it brings out the rear a little more and the A-C-U-R-A spelled out is a nice touch, draws attention to the CL's nice rear end

the ACURA in the rear you can get rom a second gen that has debadged and wants to get rid of his old emblems or you can buy a set, it was like 35 at my local dealer brand new, the TL emblem i think or the larger teg emblem i cant remember, i got it from a friend at the dealer, it will fit in the same holes in the back of the car no probs, but to hold it in i mixed some 2 ton clear epoxy and put a little on the sides andand stuck it on, that shit is permenant and if you try to steal it youll only get part and not all of it

the letters come pre set in a sticky 3m adhesive and you just line it up take off the plastic and stick on the car, its on one strip so when you put it on all the letters go on at once, i hope you get what im saying

The trunk looks nice. Much better than that red Acura emblem you had. Save your money for that blitz adapter and your DVD's will sound much better.

Hey Dennis thanks, the trunk looks great in person, but too bad about old logos and leaving a mark, but i have a fm modulator and it is superior clear when i play my dvd's no crackles or noise at all, and it was 50 bucks for the FM but it was worth it because it comes in clear as a whistle

thanks for your opinion but i like the red look and it draws attention to the engine, i am going to chrome the intake manifold soon to draw the attention away from all the red.

thanks for the input
