New member!

I just picked up my first cl, its a 99 2.3cl 5sp! i got a really good deal on it, it has a blown headgasket...anyway on to the pics..

I have had many acuras and hondas..i love them and hofefully i will love this car too, call me crazy but im gonna be keeping this and selling my 02 TL-S

Anways after countless hours of planning and lurking in the noob guide i ordered the following stuff:
JDM H22 Longblock
ACT Stage 3 cltuch and Flywheel
Tein s tech springs
99/00 to obd 1 conversion harness so i can use my obd 1 p13
i already have a h22 trans and shifter from my spare h22 stuff
I have a set of 17 Racing hart c3 EVOS that need to be refinished, any idea on what color i should go with?? Im thinking black centers with a polished lip or full polished??
Anyway im waiting for the longblock to come in, meanwhile im going to pull the stock motor out on monday hopefuly..i NEED the h22 guide to get this thing running..as far as i know i need a prelude drivers side mount? and some wiring the use the internal coil jdm dizzy?
Also anyone know if the stock f23 injectors flow the same as h22's? I will using my stock wiring harness so i just wanna use the f23 injector cause im lazy hehe
also last question, for now atleast lol i have a rsx steering wheel anyone know if it will work??
any comments are welcome
thanks

If I were you, I'd POWDERCOAT the Racing Harts a red color.

While your at it, paint your calipers black.

Red rims w/ black calipers may look clean.

call me crazy.

Welcome to the forum, it sounds like you really got your shit together. I can't help you out with the H22 stuff but there's lots of others that definately can. When you say stage 3 ACT clutch, what pressure plate and disk is that?

i highly doubt ill be going this route with this car i want a subtle luxury look, the act is a clutch kit meaning pressure plate and six puck sprung disk with a 8lb flywheel. I will def update as i come along,
quick question: i am ordering a set of 9006 HIDs in 4700k do the stock headlights have a cut off? or am i gonna have to do a retro fit?

its fun...but i have a idle problem when i first cold start it. It will surge for a minute or two until it warms up. Other then that I put my AC lines back in a few days ago, so now I have freezing cold AC. Im currently piecing together a turbo kit for it.
