im in Virginia, right under DC. Its good to be back on the site..the CL had been sitting for a while and now that i am driving it again i figured why not come and post

I have some info about the short shifter mod that I learned (thanks to the DIY i found here) while I was changing out my stock shifter..Well as I was drilling out the two pieces from the base of the shifter plate, I lost one of the rubber "foot pegs" and couldnt find it..well after searching for a while I thought i would just take the ones of my donor prelude shifter plate..long story short: If you use the four rubber pieces from the shifter plate from a prelude your shifter will sit another .5" lower I was really happy when i realized it would shorten the overall height AND not cause any kind of clearance issues with the shifter it self.
I have pictures of what i am taking about, ill upload them and maybe someone can update the DIY.
