Hello everyone,
I was looking at a 97 2.2 cl automatic and was wondering if any of you have any tips of what to look for and common problems that would be found. Also it needs repainted and if any of you have gotten your cars painted how much it cost, im planning on doing it myself just trying to find out how much i can knock off the list price. Thanks for any info supplied.

watch out for the slush box, though the 2.2 wont put as much strain on the tranny as the 3.0 does.
If it needs to be repainted, that should be reflected in the price, a substaintal price cut is needed.

To be honest with you, I would stay away from the 2.2 auto. Your modding capabilities will suffer from that. If you can find a 2.2/3 manual, or a 3.0 you would be much happier.
