i was searching ebay tonight and found this, i was talking to the guy and if it does fit and i get the dimensions to compare to the ww lip if someone can measure it, we might have a group buy available for this lip and hey its CHEAPER!!! its a 1996-1997 accor 2 door type r jdm lip, they also have teh 2 door mugen jdm lip as well but i need to see if they will work, but here a link to look at them, ill keep you posted as soon as i hear from him this week.

97Acura3.0CL... hey.. yeah.. keep us posted about this lip man.. if it will fit with less modifications.. than I will get this too since it's cheaper.. I don't know why the WW CL air dam lip cost $200 even at Ebay.. I think they should only cost less than a $100 bucks.. it's not a full bumper... and I also think the Mugen Accord lips or other lips for accords are much nicer.. anyways.. if this won't fit.. then I guess I'll just stick and order the WW lip..

 

i have seen both before. They dont stick out from the car as much as the ww, which makes the lower lip flush with the bumper. Thats the reason why i bought the ww. That lip looks like it would make the car look lower though....

 

I think it is pretty nice. I probably think that because all Ive seen is the WW Lip. Anyway, let us know if it fits. for 79 bucks vs. 200, I can afford to try it out and see if I like it....

 

anyone else think this lip will look good or it will work on the cl? i think it might i want to fork it out for the lip but i dont know yet if i will i will probably wait till the guy emails me back

well guys i got a response from the guy and he said if we were interested i could give him a call i have his personl cell phone # so i will see how much they would cost if we got like 10 since they are only like 80 a piece maybe we can get them for 50, ill try, but 50 for a lip, that is pretty damn cheap compared to the ww lip. but more to come soon and i will see about the mugen lip as well

will he make it look just like the WW lip? you know, stick out just like the WW. and if its around 100 i'm in too.

 

ask if he can make the lip lower then the WW lip, so we can get the WW side skirt to fit right. and maybe the rear lip too.

 

jimmy this is the lip that he is selling me, it will not be modified, if you want something lower try the mugen lip he has, it is for a 96-97 accord 2 door it is lower and you can see pics in his product pictures. the type r lip is like the ww but it does not have the flair on the side, it is a little smoother and i like the clean look i am thinking of adding or shaving down the old one and joining the new one and the old one together, but thats just a thought. the type r lip , i am getting dimension on, maybe someone that has a ww lip can get dimensions for me so i can comepare them together, like i need heights at the center, height at the sides where the lip is, the i need length of the lip from one side to the other and thats it. pm me if anyone can help me out. i am getting the kobat skirts from duyaknow soon and i will see how the lip and the skirts look, i will put them on temporary after i take off the blue paint from the skirts and i will see how the lip and the skirts align and their height comparison
