New intake installed quick question...

there is a low pitched humming noise.... kinda loud when car is idling and i dont know if it is normal since intake are really supposed to be loud at high rpms. Its not but but im just wondering if it is normal.... btw it sounds incredible with the 3.0.... i love it!

i have the INJEN short ram, the CAI does not humm quite as much as a shorty cause the shorty is closer to the top of the hood and the CAI is muffled from the containment of the bumper and side fender liners

I love INJEN but the AEM V2 is looking too tempting for my next upgrade

but i have to say i love my INJEN

why didn't you jsut go with a CAI in teh first place? Or you sould just get a cold air extension. I'm sure the HP gains are virtually unnoticable.

i got a V2 in my 2.3 i never had an intake in my CL before... but it sounds awesome.. little pricey but well worth the money. it has the best gains as far as any intake for the 4 cyl, it sounds fuckin mean as hell, and the filter is under the hood, so i would imagine there is little risk for sucking up water. i guess it's kinda inbetween a short ram and a cold air... i love it.
