if you're willing to dish out almost 500 for a pair of new ones, then go for it

otherwise, open yours up and clean em... Check the DIY section for the blacked out headlights post to find out how to open them.

Good luck!

There are no aftermarket replacements, but you can get new headlights. Look on ebay, they have them up there pretty frequently, they are a bit expensive if you go through a parts dealer

are you ever up north in this area? Doral, Miami springs, hialeah, Miami Lakes?

I'd be more than happy to sit with ya for a while and help you find all you need... Just know that I've already spent A-LOT of money on stuff for my car, and if you want to do this, so will you.

Let me know.

I'd open them up and clean them out/wetsand and polish the outside of the lenses with fine cut rubbing compound -- you can make them look like new for like 15 bucks and a cupla hours work.
When I had my headlight replaced, the guy left a Depo box in my trunk -- maybe Depo makes them/maybe he just used that box to put it in, but it's worth a try if you're set on buying new ones. good luck

well i opened my hood up to see what i would have to do to take out in order to get the lamp out. it looks like a pain in the ass lol. the screws didnt look like a problem at all, but it looks like there are some small tiny "hook" type things that look fragile. i'm scared i'll break those things and then i'm screwed. so i'm gonna have to think about it. and i cant seem to find the DIY on how to do the black housings, anyone know where it is

i thought i needed new headlights too when i bought my white 2.3 from my ex g/f, but i read around on the sanding/polishing thing and decided to give it a shot and they came out pretty damn clean, no need to take off the headlights or buy new ones (taking them off requires front bumper removal no?). btw im in 305 too heh, i live in opa locka but my ex is in kendall and i visit her alot, and i goto fiu engineering. i dont know crap about cars though, i just know the CL is pretty

hey

before you go to the trouble of taking off the headlights and opening them up, try to clean them w/ some plastic polisher on the outside. that might work. that's what i do w/ mine.

to take off the headlights, you'll have to take off the bumper cover too. it's a real pain in the ass.

btw, fiu sucks

cover up the paint if you're not gonna take the lights out.

use atleast 1000 grit for the last sanding stage, and use metal polish after that, the plastic/plexi polish stuff is highly ineffective compared to metal polish.

I did it a couple weeks ago by hand and used 600 then 2000 grit, 3m rubbing compound, then meguire's plastX plastic polish. I think it helped out a lot. Take your time, and dont forget to mask off your paint. Its too much of a pain to take the lights out to do this simple project

oh, and make sure you wet sand them
